What is a hot oil manicure?

A hot oil manicure is an expensive and luxurious treatment done in a nail spa that helps to improve brittle nails, dry skin and callus on the hands. There is no better way to pamper your nails and skin than this. A hot oil manicure can keep your cuticles soft smooth and forever clean. If you haven't had one in a nail salon here's your chance to try it right in the comfort of your own home.

What you'll need:

- Nail and skin oil - floral oil (or oil of your choice)

- Finger bowl

- Hand towel

- Orange wood stick

- Nail Tools for shaping natural nails

- Cotton square

Step 1: Pour the oil into a small bowl and warm the oil for 30 seconds.

Caution: Make sure its not too hot before placing your finger tips in.

Step 2 - Cleanse your hands and shape your nails as desired.

Step 3 - Dip your finger nails into the bowl of oil until it cools down.

Tip: You can also reheat and leave your fingers in as long as desired.

Step 4 - Remove your fingers and use the excess oil to massage your hands starting with your nails and cuticles in a circular motion to help promote a healthy blood flow in your finger tips working your way to fully self-massaging your hands.

Step 5 - After massaging your hands with the oil rinse them off and pat dry with a towel.

Step 6 - Next, use an orange wood stick and gently push back your cuticles then wipe away any excess dead skin using a cotton square.

Step 7 - Now, its time to leave your nails bare for a couple of days so they don’t become dried out too fast.

This technique is great for growing healthy nails at home. For the best results try doing this procedure once a week to improve dry brittle nails. dry cracked cuticles and even callus on the hands. Instead of doing this process in the day time, try doing it in the evening or a few hours before your bed time so that your hands don’t have to touch anything dirty where you would have to wash your hands removing the oils.
